With the first works presented in the fall of 2024, the Incanti series is the most recently presented in chronological order. Compared to many of the previous collections, it presents a looser structure, leaving room for the return of some earlier elements and renewing them in light of more recent series. It unveals many different atmospheres, but all marked by calligraphic and musical elements, mural spaces, and broad gestures. As is often the case with D’Adamo’s work, the meticulous construction of the image is imbued with an apparent spontaneity, as if the final texture suddenly appeared on the canvas, on its own initiative, d’incanto, losing in the process some of its original elements and acquiring new ones, in an attempt to gain its new final equilibrium.
